The town is full of small organized green areas with safe playgrounds for children. This is the work of the municipality as a result of the law for urban development, which requires such small scale parks in every neiborhood. Some of these green playgrounds are bigger with a larger variety of permanently installed games and some are smaller, but they are all safe oasis for children of all ages.

The ones that are recommended due to their size and variety of entertainment are the one at Afxentiou Avenue, in the complex of the Municipal theatre. The one at Artemis avenue on the quarter of Faneromeni church and the Cyprus Telecommunications educational green playground near their Central offices of the Timagia Avenue.
