Camel Park

It’s an experience to spend the whole day at the Camel Park, for it’s not only the camels that are found there and which of course are the main attraction, it is also everything that it offers for a full day and night.

Although the camels were originally imported, they now have their offsprings so the ones who visit them will have the chance to see the baby camels take their first tentative steps.

One can revive those Lawrence of Arabia fantasies by going out of the park, on a trek, in an authentic caravan style. For those of you who have never been on a camel before, expect an undulating ride, which at first may seem strange, but will later give you a soothing feeling of rhythmic waves. On your return, you can take a look inside a replica of a traditional Bedouin’s tent to complete the experience and the fantasy.

Apart from the camels, one sees Noah’s Ark, an old ship, which is home to a variety of smaller animals such as goats and birds. Feeding the animals is not only allowed, but is also encouraged. Once you enjoy watching the animals, it may be just the right time for some two – legged R&R. A pool, an adventure - playground and a restaurant also provides those well –awaited special moments. In the evenings you may also enjoy the Dionysian or Anatolian nights at the cosy restaurant.
